New Liberal Leader
Who should it be?? And what are your thoughts on Stephan Dion - do you think he should have been allowed to stay on?

Re: New Liberal Leader
I think that we should get a leader who can speak English... but that's just me.

Re: New Liberal Leader
HA!! That's totally my point of view too...but I don't really like any of the Liberal candidates...Like John Manley, Rae...they're all OLD.

Re: New Liberal Leader
Well... they're a little younger than McCain... at least I think they are... and they don't want to run off on a suicide bombing mission to Iraq, or at least they're less eager to than McCain is...

Re: New Liberal Leader
Yeah I guess so...but still. They can't honestly think that they're going to be able to do much about Harper? Next election (unless SH turns into some freaky Bush-wannabe) is going to give Harper a majority...and then what're they going to do?

Re: New Liberal Leader
Yeah, you know what I think is just hilarious about the whole thing? They keep hounding on Harper for not supporting the auto industry. Pfft! Right now, nobody is making money and therefore nobody wants to buy cars. Do they want Harper to give the auto industry money so that they can build cars and then what? Drive them into the ocean? No... one... is... buying. How can I state this in a simpler manner?! Giving the auto industry money to build cars that no one will buy isn't going to solve anything.

Re: New Liberal Leader
I know...that part is pretty idiotic Like what don't they get? And what's with the loans?? Giving a company money so they can rebuild is just...idiotic. They're just going to lose all that money and not be able to repay it!! What's with people?
But I THINK some of them are to help people get a bit of pay when they're laid off? Not sure about that one...

Re: New Liberal Leader
No idea. Politics are such a joke these days, it used to be that Canadians sorta cared about their leaders and the leaders half tried but now we're pretty much on level with the states, especially since Obama got in and he knows what he's doing a lot more than Clinton, Bush, or any other of the recent ones did.

Re: New Liberal Leader
The Linda Party? It doesn't have the same ring as say, The Conservatives, or The Green Party (why hasn't anyone made like, a purple or a yellow party? red, blue, green, brown, orange, all the colours are so boring for elections!)

Yes it is, although I expect Linda will object, she doesn't like to be considered a problem child.
