Seen the Movie?
Rant, rave, remember, recollect, and review. I went to see it recently and I'd have to say it was probably the best unintentional comedy I've ever seen. Here's an example:
The first time Bella sees Edward in the sunlight. I was curious to see how they'd do that one. I was disappointed (not that I had really been expecting too much) At first you couldn't even see any difference, then, you look closer at his face and it suddenly looks as if he's sweating so I'm there going: Rather gross and really quite pathetic, I can't really see presperation causing a big uproar in Italy for New Moon. The Bella looks at him and with a straight face manages to say:
You're beatiful.
That's when I just about fell out of my chair laughing in the theatre.
On a positive note the 3 Nomadic Vamps did a pretty good job and Nikki Reed portrayed Rosalie quite nicely. Carlisle actually managed to pull off looking like a vampire (or at least something non-human) for a almost half his shots which is more than I can say for the rest of the Cullens. Jessica and most of the school kids were also done pretty well, Jessica herself being quite ammusing.
Other than that, I'd have to say just the screenplay and scripts in general were too jumpy and melodramatic for it to be believable, sorry guys but that was a bit worse than I expected.
And one final question: Does anyone know WHY SM decided to show up in one of the scenes and have a waitress actually CALL her Stephenie?!

Re: Seen the Movie?
XD For publicity, that's why.
(You forgot review)

Re: Seen the Movie?
That's the word I was looking for!
And I don't know if that really counts as publicity... it was just... weird.

Re: Seen the Movie?
Ha! Actually they kind of do! Well, the hair is a little different, and SM has a few more pounds on her but other than that...
And you know just about NOBODY else noticed! I asked a couple other people who saw it and they were all like "...Huh?"

Re: Seen the Movie?
Exactly! Although I can't quite blame her... If I wrote a book (no matter how crappy) and it was turned into a movie, I'd definitely want to be an extra in it. But then I'd also control the urge and stay out of it so that the movie wouldn't be any worse than it already was by my appearance.

Re: Seen the Movie?
Yes, you wouldn't make it anything so blatantly obvious and you wouldn't actually have people address you like that! You'd want a part so that no one watching the movie would even notice you there. Silly woman.
