*cough* Rob Pattinson??

I don't know about you people, but for me Robert Pattinson is one of the worst actors they could have picked to play Edward.
First, he has a BRITISH ACCENT. Edward is supposed to be from America, for God's sake. An American with a British accent? Things just don't add up here.
Second, he's not even attractive. Like seriously. Edward is supposed to be all dreamy and cute...Pattinson? He has a square chin, doesn't know how to shave, is too tall, and is just plain ugly. Oi.
Third. What is with his voice? He's all...Dark Knightish. You can't even understand what he's sayinig, and he sounds as if he wants to barf or something.
Fourth
"How old are you?"
"Seventeen."
"How long have you been seventeen?"
"A while."
!?!
When he says "A while" it sounds like he's all...uninterested. He's supposed to pause, then say softly "A while" as if he actually CARES. This just isn't going to work.
Fifth, his hair is just NOT bronze. I understand the unruly part, but I always pictured Ed's hair more...reddish brown.
Sixth. CEDRIC DIGGORY?!??!

i know why everyone is obsessing over this book, but plze GET A LIFE, THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS VAMPIRES!!!! losers, and monkey spiders, what the heck! everyone will forget about this book, in like 10 years or so anyway!!!

haha- the key word being EVENTUALLY. I don't think we're gonna invite too many Twilight fans in from school and whatnot so we'll be waiting until we start spreading the word on mara and whereever else before any of them get ahold of us. Until then we have free reign over this forum

His eyes are supposed to be topaz, not dirty yellow. And why, in all the pictures, are his eyes always rolled up in his head to the point where you can barely see his irises?! Is he having a seizure or what?!

Not to mention the fact that his hair is always lopsided as if he took a comb and in one swipe pulled it all up and to the side. He's like some sort of confused Elvis fanatic (And I'm sure it will only look worse when he's in the sunlight and starts glittering like an Elvis impersonater as well.)

Off topic much? I saw the poor guy on this interview and it was so funny! You can't help but pity him...

Interviewer: So, you've got a lot of fan girls out there who really love you, huh?

Rob: Well, they're in love with the character.

Int: But it's you that they're wanting to marry.

Rob: Yeah, I don't really get that. They're all, "I LOVE YOU!!!" And I'm still going "...WHY???"

I was laughing so hard And then there was ANOTHER one where the interviewer asked if he was getting a lot of requests for relationships.

Rob: Nope, none at the moment.
(pause for the sudden screams of objections from fangirls)

Int: *laughs* I think some people disagree.

Rob: Well, there's a lot of screaming ABOUT relationships, but none of them seem to actually want one that involves regular speech or any of the normal get-to-know-you parts.

Has anyone actually watched the movie yet? I know it's crappy and all, but I just reread the first few chapters of Twilight, and reailzed that SM really does suck.
She uses the word "nice" more times in the first ten chapters than I have in my whole life!
Plus, what's with her descriptions of the Cullens? Lame much?
If I was doing it, it would be at least four pages in total.
Like at least Louisa May Alcott knew how to describe people!! She spends a page on each of the main characters.

Yeah, however horrible he is for the part, you have to admit he's got a sense of humor. Anyone in his position right now would have to, you'd snap otherwise.

lol I've stuck those books at the end of my book shelf where I can't see them and refuse to lend them out. I will NOT contribute to the widespread disease that has attacked the minds of so many girls.

Oh, and Twilight made 70mil this week in box offices so they're doing New Moon. Stewart&Pattinson are still in it but that's all they've said. Althought I'm willing to bet they'll change it quite a bit, the fans won't be happy if their 'Eidverd' (or however they misspell it) only gets 10 minutes of screen time. Plus they're kinda stuck for Jacob. The kid is barely 15 so they can't really try to start anything between him and Bella, yet if they get a new actor it will look funny. They really shot themselves in the foot over that one...

Yeah, and even the latest HP movie did better than that (nearly 80mil if I remember correctly) and those movies have only gotten worse with time as less and less people have gone to see them
